                     Sneed - "OLD MASTER"

                    Picture
I started collecting with a focus on Automatic Fly Reels, mainly due to availabilty and reasonably low prices.  While searching for those, some nice looking levelwinds and a few salt-water reels caught my eye.  Then another and another and so on and so forth.  My current collection is a mixture of Automatics, Tear-Drop Levelwinds, the Penn Senator series, a lot of odd-balls, a bunch of rods and a plethera of various tackle items.
Unlike others, I don't specialize in one Make or Model.
                    I like 'em ALL!

ORCA - Old Reel Collectors Association

                    Picture
I am a member of ORCA, a world-wide reel collectors association based in the U.S.   ORCA has members all over the world....England, Scotland, Denmark, Germany, Australia, Sweden, Norway and many other locations.

There is no better place to learn about, talk about, view, discuss or even dream about reels.   The ORCA "Reel Talk Forum" is frequented by some of the MOST knowledgable "reel people" in the world.  An excellant place to gain and share knowledge.

NFLCC - National Fishing Lure Collector's Club

                    Picture
The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a non-profit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishing-related equipment.
The NFLCC encompasses every aspect of collecting fishing-related tackle and ephemera (i.e. Reels, rods, catalogs, advertising, minnow traps and buckets, creels, photo's, etc.), not just fishing lures.
We welcome anyone interested in vintage fishing tackle to join the 4000 members worldwide in the largest organization devoted to this hobby. Browse this site and discover the world of antique fishing tackle.
